This talented candidate will step into an instrumental entry-level admin role assisting our financial planning team:

• Conduct research to support financial planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of informative and engaging PowerPoint presentations for client meetings.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with required client paperwork preparation.
• Master systems such as CRM, custodian, and other financial planning programs.

Qualifications we're looking for in an ideal candidate:

• Excellent Organizational Skills: The ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain meticulous attention to detail is essential in this role.
• Strong Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, is crucial for interacting with team members and clients.
• Proficiency in Office Software: Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools is important for completing administrative tasks and preparing client presentations.
• Resourcefulness and Problem-Solving Abilities: The capacity to think critically, solve problems independently, and adapt to changing priorities is highly valued in our fast-paced environment.
• Customer Service Orientation: A friendly and professional attitude, along with a commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, is key.
• Basic Understanding of Financial Concepts: A basic understanding of financial terminology and concepts will be advantageous in supporting the planning team.
• High Level of Autonomy: The ability to take ownership of tasks, work independently, and make decisions confidently is important, given the level of autonomy expected in our office culture.

This talented candidate will step into an instrumental role within our financial planning and portfolio management departments.

• Preparing materials for client and prospect meetings
• Providing client relationship support
• Assisting in recommending and executing financial planning objectives for clients
• Preparing performance and other reports using portfolio management software
• Reviewing portfolios and assisting in rebalancing/trading processes
• Reconciling transactions and assisting with data management projects
• Compiling investment and macroeconomic research

The qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting or equivalent
• CFP® preferred, or in process of obtaining certification
• Two years business related experience
• Strong analytical and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate
  communication style helpful
• Excellent time management skills
• High level of proficiency with MS Office
• Tamarac / eMoney, and Junxure knowledge a plus
